the only reason, that i think it isn't a themed console is because they've never been that elaborate. It looks to be covered in 3d scales like a dragon egg, and most official themed consoles are just printed on logos and such.

My issue wasn't the Batmobile itself. It was the shoehorned combat. And not even the "regular" combat where you could call it in for thug disposal. I mean the tank battles. They felt out of place. I loved everything else about it. It should have been mainly a travel option, and not so much of a tool for puzzles, battles, and races.

possibly. which would be a good excuse for joel to show up. what if you play as ellie early game. get into some kind of mess, then play as Joel mid game to get her back, then as both late game or something. what we have seen playing as ellie could all be prologue for all we know.

This would have made sense if it wasn't explained later. When you meet the woods witch, it is explained that you are hiding your "godhood" from the boy. So it makes sense that your regular moveset is subdued, and the stranger fight is over the top
