I never said the game was open world. It has exploration.
Half-Life 2 was linear when driving? I thought the complete opposite. I was able to take many paths across the beach, etc. to get to where I needed to go.

I honestly think you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. So it's probably best if we ignore your post..
They freaking blew me away, and I think the atmosphere contributed to it.
I think what stands out the most is the outstanding character models. When Alan is in the house talking to his friend, I was absolutely blown away by the detail on their clothing and facial features.
I also think that the camera angles they produce are absolutely genius. When it shows Rusty holding the gun up and it slowly comes into focus and he fires, it just put me on edge. When the villager...
The way it is told is just phenomenal. I was having my doubts for a bit since we weren't seeing anything new, but this reassured me that this is going to be one hell of a ride.

If you expect us to believe that a BioWare developer would randomly tell a insignificant individual that they have a big announcement for the PS3 next year, instead of someone who actually matters and gives large announcements, then you're nutters.
Microsoft has no competition with Sony except through their gaming divisions.
The first ad that was posted was for Windows, and that isn't a Playstation they're playing. They have gamepads which represent Playstation controllers and they have them plugged into a computer. It's not even a PS3 controller since it has a wire on it, lolz.

I think it was more than that, actually. From what I remember, the worldwide numbers were around 3-4 million in the first couple days or so.
Don't listen to numbnuts above my comment. The game is about a 8-10 hour experience for the first time through. Speed running is around 2-5 hours.
