He's not saying 3rd party developers are better than 1st party developers. We all know that a 1st party developer can pump out the nicest looking games for the console (i.e. Fable 2, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, etc. AND YES... they are absolutely gorgeous games for the 360). All he's saying, is that relying solely on 1st & 2nd party developers is too risky a business. Sony sank around $60 million into Killzone 2 and the game only sold around 2 million. Their profits were not great at...
It's a blatant fact that the PS3 has nicer looking games than the 360, but the Xbox blew the PS2 away in terms of graphics. Fable, Halo 2, Crimson Skies, Knights of The Old Republic 1 & 2, Conker: LIVE and RELOADED all look better than GoW 1 & 2, SoTC, etc.

I disagreed because that your statement was incorrect. Halo has never lacked in the quantity department. Honestly for a shooter, graphics should be the last thing you worry about. Gameplay > Quantity > Graphics. If you're wanting graphics as it's main feature, you're playing the game for the wrong reasons, really.
All Microsoft is doing is not forcing devs to work solely on 720p native games. I'm sure Sony is the exact same way, and allows all resolutions for the Playstation 3.
It doesn't say they're doing it to make sub-HD games at all...

I love my PSP. I put it up there with my PS3 and 360 as one of the best consoles available. That being said, I'm happy they're not forcing us to buy a PSP Go! bundle with GT5P. I just hate the thing. Not to mention it's expensive as hell.
Xbox 360 is leading in the largest regions in the world. I think the only place it doesn't have is Japan. USA, UK, Australia, Canada, etc.
