There is 5.1 support. I had to go into the options during playback of a movie and choose it.
Awesome
Mine came from Amazon and works great. Less than 10,000 faulty units out of a million isn't bad at all.
You want to know how I prepared for the launch of Xbox One being a 360 owner? I bought a PS4. Sorry Microsoft. I was yours last gen but Sony always had my heart with the first Playstation. Sony's back on track.
I currently have two xbox 360's so I can play in my bedroom sometimes without having to bring my console from the living room. Buying two consoles just to do that wasn't cheap. I bought my son a Vita last Christmas so I was happy with Sony announcing remote play to the Vita, but now being able to stream my PS4 games to my tv in my bedroom is just freaking awesome! Sony is not messing around. They've won me over.
Shenmue 3 please! TLG too! Throw in a new Syphon Filter as well. Uncharted 4 and TLOU 2 also. All at launch...............
What about from xbox 360 to PS4?! I love my 360 but it's PS4 all the way come November!
The only thing I can think of that could hurt the PS4 would be if there were hardware issues like the RROD the 360 suffered from.
Microsoft is being cautious because of their RROD issue from the 360 in the past. They are making sure the unit isn't too compact and keeping the power supply external to keep it from overheating. They're not experienced with hardware like Sony is, which is why the PS3 slim and PS4 are so small, have an internal power supply, and don't have heat issues. It's kind of funny that the specs of the Xbox One and PS4 are practically the same yet the sizes are so different. That's...
I'm sorry but having a next gen Killzone at launch is awesome. Being able to turn on your system and jump right back into your game without waiting for the system to load up because there's now plentiful memory is awesome. Finally having an overhaul on the dualshock controller is awesome. Driveclub free for PS+ members at launch is awesome. And yes, playing the best looking (and probably best playing) version of multiplatform games coming to current gen systems also is awesome. Overal...
Manhunt should be on the list.
Limbo has to be in there somewhere.
GTAV and Splinter Cell will have a PS4 version by summer of next year I bet, so I'll wait for those. Beyond probably won't be getting a PS4 version so I'll be picking that up. Probably my last PS3 game purchase.
You can toss my salad!
