Multi-platform: Games which appear on multiple platforms, such as Crysis 2, Homefront, etc...
Example: Cryengine was developed on PC, Crysis 2 was built with the Cryengine 3 on PC dev kits then ported over to the consoles.

360 and PS3 cannot compete with the PC in terms of graphics, that's just common sense.
Gears of War is 'super linear' and Crysis 1 wasn't even released on 360.
360 had a years head start in sales and the PS3 has equalled it now.
