Ninja gaiden is not even in the same category. I'm talking about balance polish and gameplay. From software nobody can match their level of quality. Sekiro, souls, bloodborne, all superior to Nioh. Yep. Sekiro is freaking excellent. But then again I expect nothing less from Miyazaki. His level of balance and combat polish in his games is outstanding. Honestly nobody has been able to emulate it. they have tried but they haven't matched his level.
You got that right. Nioh sucked. I wanted it to be good. But it was just another soul's knockoff in my opinion with awful balance and terrible graphics. The combat was awful too. Maybe I'm spoiled by Miyazaki but I expect a certain level of balance in my games, no matter how hard, in souls it was always fair. Nioh did not have balance at all.

Mmhmm. I played nioh and I was sitting here going "oh my God I can't believe how bad this is." It has this complicated just to be complicated feel vs tough but fair. It has none of the balance that any of the souls games have.
Oh good Lord. There is no just comparison between bloodborne and nioh. Bloodborne is a masterpiece and nioh is just a bloated, unbalanced knockoff.

Every time there's a new console, developers always have a new, next gen port plus an old gen port for transition. it's not like this is something new. I think it's great Microsoft is doing that especially now where PS4 and Xbox released mid-grade gen upgrades this is perfect. And honestly the hardcore gamers who want the best will buy the new series X.
