wont be overkill if you are maxing out the games with smaa and such
I would still take 2 r9 380x or 2 gyx 870;s and sli/crossfire them though.
It will barly max out Metro last light at 1080p 60 fps max settings 3 x smaa. the SMAA kills frame rate. This card should be hitting about 12500 on 1080p firestrike. This is needed and in no way overkill.
dump them asap they will be worth 580 prices soon as the 880 hits
buy 780ti after people stsrt dumping them. they will have to be 100 less then the 880 used if not more and will still have warranty

over kill for sure. I want something with lots of power low heat and lower power consumption. to replace my 29 280x build and my crossfire r9 270 build Two mid range cards in crossfire or sli are fun to play with. want to see the GTX 860 870 and r9 370 and r9 380s.

Nvidia GameWorks is dirty and Watchdogs runs like crap on both my rig's. both 3rd gen 3770's one 10 gigs ram and one R9 280x other 12 gigs ram and R9 270's in crossfire. I have FC4 pre ordered but will wait for the review before I open the game this time.
without competition Nvidia would still be selling GTX 480's for $500. They are dirty bastards. I have owned a fair share of Nvidia cards most recent the gtx 780 and I have to say I will be hard pressed to buy another if they keep up with their shady practiced. Go red team.

$400 PS4 is a vastly better value than a $400 Xbox One............ what are you talking about dude the Video cards in the ps4 and xbone are both cheep as dirt. you would be smoking some serious lala if you think there is $100 worth of more hardware in the PS4. granted the ddr5 and bump in GPU is nice but not $100 nice.
