I think he is wrong. There will always be some type of a console you can play games on.
I mean, GT5 took me more than an hour to install. I think it's like 10GB or something. 4GB won't be a problem.
I actually played it in 3D. I got an LX900 Bravia. Best TV I ever had in my life. It's a bit pricey but for me at least, well worth it.
I know I probably get crap from PC fans but I already got a PS3 to play Crysis 2 on. And I'm ok with the lower quality of graphics, I will enjoy the game just as much as anyone on PC will.
I got it last week because of PSplus. It's an amazing fighter!! I suggest everyone give it a shot.
It's understandable. Japan got hit very hard. It's a terrible thing. I hope they can recover quickly. Unforunate thing is that after a nuclear plant meltdown/explosion radiation can stay in the region for 50 years. It's just terrible. I hope that Japan get's trough this very quickly. well kevnb, you are wrong because consoles don't only do gaming. You can use them to watch movies, listen to music, browse the internet, view your pictures and some other small things. Consoles will progress I believe and will have more and more functionalities as a windows or apple PC. Consoles will not die out in 5-10years at all. This guy has no knowledge about the gaming industry. Console gaming makes up the largest part in the video game world. These app. Games are a joke. They are ok to kill some time while waiting t the DMV and such places but I would never pull out my phone at home to play anything on it. It's clear that he is just jelaous because he can't make a proer video game so he feels the need to crap on actual video games. I'm sorry but Angry Birds is a pice of shit!

Let see, compare a device that was made for the purpose of gaming alone and supports other things such as music player, video player web browsing, image viewer and who knows what else will be there but the main focuse is :GAMING.
With another device that wasn't made for gaming in mind but for a general everyday use. It does support gaming though but it isn't it's main focus.
So, the clear answer is....

I don't know where you live but here in NYC most electronics stores I went to usually recommended a Bravia. Sometimes a Samsung but mostly Sony TV's.
Also, I haven't seen anything come close to my Bravia LX900 so far.
Some people just love to hate on sony.
A panel by itself won't give you a great TV. There are a lot more components that make up a great TV. So far Sony used Samsung panels yet any bravia was supperior to any samsung TV that I've seen.
