wow you guys..... they said 4k TEXTURES.
4k textures isnt even that great by todays standards. most of my textures in my Skyrim game is 4k heck some is even 8k.
this is texture res not screen space. there is a huge diffrence.
if they said they had gigapixel sized textures like in the graphine demo or whatever it was called then it would impress.
i hope they dont use just one 4k texture for one car for that would be kinda low in the close up quality.
looks good and its an cost effective effect over other types aswell. (performance vs quality)
better off waiting for ArchAge (is in an English Beta now) or Black Desert to make a move to the english market.
or just stick with Skyrim/Oblivion

i felt the same way. over 70 hours in all the beta tests trying hard to find a reason to continue on.
after the first hours or two it got quite stale.
i guess the only reason it didnt feel like that from the start was the hope that it might be a good elder scrolls game like all the others, it wasnt.
people are sheep. they will buy whatever that is new without thinking about what they are doing.
there is no games for the system yet IMO.
the Playstation got very few games that is worth a look, and even fewer that i actually want (just inFamous so far).
and the XO got no games either IMO. they got a "sim racer" that i dont care for, a zombie game (like we havent had enough of those already), Titanfall (already on PC and plays better there).
only game that have gotten me exited the last few months is MGS and SSB and that is saying much...
feel the same way here, as a PC gamer i mostly play on my PC and most of the games out now on both consoles are multiplat. only game that is even worth a look right now IMO is inFamous, and even that is suppose to be worse than the last two in the series....
at this point the Wii U is a much better offer, atleast there i can all the games i want and i know there is more coming, not to mention the huge back catalog of older games on the system aswell.
a Wii U that is Digital Only would be great IMO. get a larger disk in there maybe a 250GB or 500GB and throw away the large diskdrive aswell. the system would be smaller in size and you can download more games aswell :D
tho a large HDD is not needed at all since it already supports USB disks

just think about the speed that they are using in this vid. you will never be running or flying that fast in the game itself. it movements speeds are quite love over many other MMO's ATM (looking at ArchAge)
pop-in really? you will NEVER be running/flying at those speeds in the game itself!
and we have no idea what kind of hardware this vid is running on either.
well with the low price that HDD's are at now its still really sad to see.
a 500GB HDD is much more expensive over a 1TB drive if you consider GB=$.
and when they see that even their own first party games is having such a large Download size its really shortsighted by them.
doesnt make it better with the Download speeds being low either (atleast they was in on 360/PS3 over something like Steam)
500GB is too small in this day and age, what the hell where they thinking with that size?

what i dont get is the HDD size they both used.... so useless.
more games should doing this IMO. makes the game more you TBH. use the Huds and Announcers you want in your game.
Loving what they are doing with Dota 2 and all the Announcers, HUD's, Loading Screens and Couriers, and lets not forget all the Hero Items aswell :D
stuff like this is just fun and adds to the game and i think its a great addition to a sadly bad and broken game.

well they make alot of money on TF2 and Dota 2 no matter what. heck even the content artists make alot aswell!
also, to be fair: Dota 2 was high on the list when it was Pay for Beta Access aswell. just saying.
