Half-life is very much an A to B shooter. I assume your talking about the Orange box, which had HL2//Portal//TF2 all on one disc. I remember playing through it on the 360 and did not enjoy it, mainly because it ran at 20fps most of the time.
I highly recommend playing it through the HL series on PC, the way they were intended to be played, its a masterpiece.

Battle royales are on their way out imo. Although the finals is definitely one of the most polished BR experiences to date, the formula is just stale at this point.

Been playing Pikmin 4 since launch - I must say the game is really good. It's the most polished Pikmin to date and adds a lot of cool new features which streamlines and provides a lot of variety to the gameplay.
The people talking crap about the game clearly don't have a Switch (or a PC strong enough to emulate one). RIP losers.
I'm surprised they scrapped the Slipspace engine. I thought the graphics looked great, the sandbox physics were as good as ever, and the AI worked well. Clearly a lot of work went into it and it appears to have been optimized for the new generation of GPUs. The only issue I had with it was the lack of environments, would have been cool to have different biomes on the ring to explore. A bit more variety in missions would have been nice, maybe some timed events where you have to manuever ...
The only time I sign up for gamepass is when I want to play a single player title for 10 bucks on PC.
Ten bucks and I played through High on life, another 10 next month to play through Atomic Heart. Always make sure to cancel though.

Another factor no one is mentioning is a LOT of big games have come out recently. Between TOTK, SF6, and Diablo 4, I'm guessing most people don't have the cash for another $70 game this month.
FF16 just had poor choice on release date time imo. I'm sure sales will rise when people's wallets have recovered.

An extra 50 million dollars to a billionaire is like finding a quarter on the street, it literally means nothing. If you really want to stick it to JK Rowling, tax billionaires more and cut off their loopholes.
