1. too conservative 3d in games and movies
2. unconvincing reprojection and converted 3d in games and movies
and also
3. the fact that 3d looks drastically different depending on how close or far away you are from the screen. try moving a 3ds 6 inches too close to your face to 6 inches too far---you go from squished depth, to exaggerated depth.....and there is no way for programmers or filmmakers to control this.

they always have stocked less ps3 games, so it's no surprise it came in 3rd. which is unfortunate because the 360 discs that you get from there are usually scratched to hell if not brand new.

dude sly 4 is not a big release, it's ok but not marquee and the gameplay shows it. let's not forget that god of war 2 was released after the ps3 came out so just because it's big doesn't mean that it has to come before the ps4. i'm sure they'll make ps3 games for a little while after the ps4 is out (in parity with the vita, like how motorstorm artic edge was a psp/ps2 title)
to nintendo defense force mr mike, 98% of nintendo's market audience doesn't read game news sites or follow online. they show up at the store or see it in the sunday ad. they don't know how any of this crap works (especially if they are buying for their kids). also most of those people are not "moderately intelligent". have you never been to walmart?

i guarantee 90% of the games next gen will be 3d compatible. as for the rest of this gen, it has slowed down since it's hard to do well with already strapped power, but there are more than a few upcoming big titles that are 3d--epic mickey 2, god of war ascension, bioshock infinite, sports champions 2, littlebigplanet karting, sly cooper 4, tekken tag 2, etc
the next console generation will be the last because the economics of it will reach a tipping point where they won't be able to recoup the expenses of making AAA games on a general level. There will be no need for more powerful hardware if they can't pay people enough to create the titles, and nobody is going to buy games for much higher than what they sell for now. At some point, the financial resources are going to limit the development work, if it hasn't already. Cloud is also...
