this has to be one of the most uninformed articles i've ever read.
it's an "erroneous inference" that 3D versions of LBP, wipeout, gran turismo, super stardust and KZ are in production??? tell that to the hundreds of people who played them ALL (except kz live) at various shows over the past year and a half (and motorstorm pacific rift too). but according to sony now, none of them are even being made into 3d!!! obviously those people were just hallucinating!

NO the problem is that when red steel 1 came out, people still had hope for the wii, but that has long since been lost. same goes for umbrella chronicles (sold well) to darkside chronicles (didn't)

even ratchet and clank quest for booty debuted for 15 on psn, 20 for extraction (old game, old tech) is just ridiculous
nobody i know who has a ps3 has EVER had a problem (20+), while my cousins "elite" 360 just rrod a week ago, he got an arcade to replace it while sending it in, but guess what, the BRAND NEW one came with a busted memory card. xbox troubles just all around
also one of my friends also got RROD a couple weeks ago, but he was smart enough to switch to ps3. he was also pissed that 360 scratched his discs

why don't u try to buy one ANYWHERE online. amazon, best buy, walmart, target, toys r us, gamestop ALL are out of stock and have been for a while. and numerous people have been posting on forums around the net saying how they've been going to "4 best buys 3 walmarts 2 gamestop etc" and not finding a single one. however employees say that they're getting fewer in (somebody said 3 instead of 12 a week) BUT even if that's the case how did they sell 300k plus last month? i was actually ...
i will b looking at the samsung 40" at 1999 msrp (meaning ~1799 amazon or less) but will wait until compatibility/review with ps3 comes out. if not then i'll review the prospect for other 40" ones (from sony and MAYBE plasma, if it comes to it)
