Why the heck would anyone bother submitting this story without submitting one from a site which actually has translations? Oo;
Oh well. I added the Bulbanews article as an alt-source. Full translations as well as observations of the regional differences in the new map.
Looks like these games will be direct sequels to the B&W storyline.
I posted full translations for the tweets Masuda made during and after the Pokémon Smash broadcast to the Bulbagarden forums, which you can view here.

If the developers know what they're doing, those apk files won't be distributed all that widely. If there was even a hint that those apk files are being distributed with their knowledge and permission, then TPCi would undoubtedly target them for more legal action.
We don't have a law against region locking as such, though the ACCC did rule that it was not illegal for people to circumvent region locks (and that if the only way to circumvent a region lock involved also circumventing piracy protections, then that circumvention was legal and it's the manufacturer's fault for linking the two together). The report that came out suggested that only White is free from the region locking, and not Black, so I'm more inclined to think it's a f...
Love the changes, can't wait until I have them for everyone over on AnimeShinbun as well.
In the interests of full disclosure, a quick FYI for you there ExcelKnight...that's me you're quoting. I'm the Bulbagarden webmaster. I also am the Site Manager of AnimeShinbun, which also gives me mod powers here on N4G.
Having actually seen the email and PDF that Joe "Serebii" Merrick received...if they're fake, they're the most awesome magnificent fake I've ever seen.
Actually, this would be a dramatic departure from how they've dealt with us Pokémon fansites in the past. They've only ever gone full force against one webmaster before really. They haven't even hit the sites torrenting only Pokémon stuff.
I can't describe how happy I am that the page showing the starters supposed evolutions was confirmed to be a fraud. The rest of these look mighty fine.
Where was that 6 minute trailer from originally anyway? Nintendo Channel on Japanese Wii's? Or a TV spot on Oha Suta?
Hmmmm....it's a bit hard to tell the context of some of that stuff in the video, but....was that a gym in the starting town? Oo;
Why was this approved? Duplicate of Bulbanews article posted well before this.

It certainly does appear to be Luvdisc's evolution. First confirmed evolution from a previous-gen Pokémon?
Except URIELXIV is that what he got isn't a flag, it's something totally separate. A fake DCMA claim by an individual who has no claims whatsoever on the video. I mean, come on, the guy was claiming everything in that video, up to and including the voiceovers, was his property. Somehow I don't think he owns chuggaaconroy's voice.
Chuggaaconroy is anything but small. He had approx 121,000 subscribers, was the #77 all time most subscribed director, and the #318 most subscribed all time overall. He's possibily the largest Nintendo related "Let's Play"-er on Youtube.
Chuggaa isn't the first person to have their Youtube account suspended in this debacle, but he is the largest so far.
Farfetch'd? That's...well....a bit far fetched, if you'll pardon the pun. Where's the vegetable?
Really looks very similar to both Pidgeotto and Spearow, doesn't it? I suppose this will probably be the Pidgy evolution line equivalent of this new generation, but I had imagined that they'd give us rarer and more unique Pokémon in these broadcasts rather than something so...well...plain.
How is this news? That TV program is none other than Pokémon Sunday, a weekly program that screens nothing but Pokémon related stuff for kids, including weekly news segments. Of course they're going to be going all stupid hyper over Black & White news. It's their job.
There's going to be a surprising number of people who played this game when it first came out, who now have kids, and have a Wii in the household (even if it's something only the kids play), and who would absolutely love to introduce their kids to one of their favourite titles ever.
Even a mature title can be a family title. Father/Son deathmatches anyone? With the way kids are going these days...I expect they'll beat us handily.
I'd love to see Zen Studios given a chance to make a few Pokémon Tables. It really is a shame that this spin-off has gone so overlooked for so long.
