Can't really say unexpected, but isn't he panicking a bit too early?
They just switched CEO and it's too early to see if it will bare fruit or not.
Ignoring the assets sale (NY/Tokyo buildings), the coming year will tell the true story whether Kazuo Hirai has managed to turn things around.
If he succeeds I'm sure investors will sing a completely different story.
Though I don't use either of them, more consumer choices is usually better.
In it's current form you can only view the top 300 channels, that's quite crippled.
And it's US only so the rest of the world is left out.
A quote from the article:
"Twitch will also host an exclusive broadcast following the May 21st #XboxRevealed event next week."
Says it all, Twitch.tv for Xbox 720....one week to go.
I get the feeling that Microsoft strikes better deals when it comes to applications.
That's because they along with every other manufacturer during that period used proprietary hardware.
All the systems had a unique architecture, it's surprising that they got BC to work at all.
Nevertheless (don't quote me on this) I think it was them that made BC a mainstream thing, a thing of expectation.
Now that they are finally using x86 architecture I believe BC won't be a problem in the future as (or so I hope) their business wi...
System isn't even out yet and I already lost count of how many games are being made for it or will be launch titles.
In other words, definitely a better launch lineup than the PS3.
So gaming as a whole gets a bad name again because of another 13 year old.
I can see the media spinning this already and blaming shooting/violent games.
It's more of an issue with the person themselves than anything else.
Last time it was Xbox and CoD, then PlayStation and w/e else.
One could blame the parents also, but there's only so much a parent can do.
Make sure to view the "blog" link in the article...it contains a lot more images.
In an interview with Mark Cerny it was clarified that the system does support CD, but it won't be able to playback audio CD's.
But reason to believe that it's fake for me are the following.
Sony showed off the DS4 with the light-bar, each user would have their own color.
The images/video shows only 2 USB ports, I would reckon all 4 would be present.
Not to forget that they went with an APU for a reason, to save power.
That ...
You're stating the obvious, but we're talking about the looks of a console here.
And if it's real then I for one am happy with the design.
Doesn't mean I'm not dying to see the chip scans and all the technological prowess of the system.
Whoaa...looks sleek if true.
Better than any fan made concept art IMO.
Brilliant trailer, it really sets the mood.
Along with Zynga an DeNA I believe as well.
Just hope this source of income doesn't affect the route they'll take in the future.
The fine of 250k itself is what made me raise an eye-brow.
When the estimated damage is more than $170 million, according to the report below.
The damage is done and they won't get that money back.

Titan :), Bungie might have a winner on their hands yet again.
Hope we see some more game-play footage during E3.
DS4 and Move controller doesn't match the concept or vice versa.
Less than 30 days and we'll see what it looks like, hope it's at least pleasant to the eye.
True that, though prior to that small announcement they were silent also.
Worst fear would be that it ends up like AION.
They've been tight lipped for over a year now about the US/EU version.
Just hope they don't change things too much that strays from original Korean counterpart.
I shall join the crew soon, getting that limited edition AC: Liberation bundle in 2 weeks.
Reason for purchasing it is Muramasa Rebirth limited edition, Gravity Rush and the lot (mainly games made in the East).
That it will be a nice companion with the PS4 is an added bonus.
Have yet to check out all the games that are available for the system.
I like the aesthetics of the hardware, and only have read good things about the screen.
Ayane all the way, DoA girls always look good!
So she's good at sucking then.
I find the art style of this game really interesting, gives me the feeling like I'm watching a movie.
