Barring mods, the next gen console versions look perfectly fine compared to the pc version.

pc is not a factor for console only gamers. I really don't see the need for people to constantly shoe-horn pc gaming into every console thread.

The music in that comparison video was so relaxing. I found myself zoning out instead of paying attention to the comparisons being displayed, lol.
so the new consoles can't run the game at just medium setting at 1080p, but a mid range pc can do ultra? wouldn't that mean that the consoles should be able to run the game at high at least?

that's a pretty good idea. and then ms could fund remakes of sonic, shinobi, streets of rage, phantasy star, golden axe, altered beast, nights, etc etc and they'd all have next gen graphics.
I haven't purchased a next gen console yet, and I'm leaning towards ps4, but ms buying up sega would def make me raise an eyebrow.
I STILL want them to remake re2 in the vain of re1 on gamecube, with beautiful pre rendered backgrounds.
My point was that there was nothing in the video showing ultra graphics that would make anyone feel short changed or unhappy with the version they get, since the graphics look pretty much the same across the board (except with the last gen consoles of course).
