"Oh my! He's on fire!"
I'm inclined to agree, however, with Resident Evil there was a number of rereleases. RE2 got ported to N64, RECV got ported to PS2 after it came out on Dreamcast, RE3 found its way onto Dreamcast after it launched on PS, all of the canon games were rereleased again on GC, and as unfortunate as it may be, there's been the big budget, crap all over the franchise movie series. Mario? Well he's just all over the place at any given time anyway. Part of what makes MGS so special is not ...
I have that collectible too for the GC. -thumbs up- I'd say my most prized is entire GC Resident Evil library, Metal Gear and Resident Evil Gaiden for Gameboy and physical disc SNK vs Capcom 2, Marvel vs Capcom 2 & Samurai Shodown Anthology for PS2.
Tentacles? I know where this is going.
"I hear its amazing when the lever stuffed game in flap-jaw space with the tuning button does a raw blink on Hari Kiri Rock. I need lights! 61!"
"You found a Pachinko Machine? Hurry up and pull lever!"
Nintendo has allowed themselves to be painted into this "only our games" corner. Other IPs get released on their consoles but they get overshadowed by the next Zelda, Mario, Metroid, DK etc... The NES was successful for a few things: 1. Games that shared a name with an arcade cabinet. It didn't matter if it was nothing like the arcade, it'd just better have the same name. 2. Movie licensed games. 3. Nintendo's flagships. Now there's no more arcade, and as we've m...
You basis for DMC being "gay" is then unwarrented because Dante isn't and never was a vampire. He is the son of Sparda. A demon who went against the grain regarding the destruction of humans. Personally, I don't mind the change. I'm there to play the game and get to the end of it, not to put Dante on a runway and call it a fashion show.
All those changes were subtle? Where is the difference? Jill changed her hair color and it was shorter in RE3 than it was in RE1. Snakes hair was brown and no moustache in MGS 1 and MGS 2 yet in MGS 4 there's hair where there wasn't before, and it's gray. Vega (or M.Bison in the states) initially was this average framed dude and in Alpha appears to have sterioded up complete with whited out pupils. It's the same exact thing. First, this version of Dante appears younger than ev...
Was because of his hair.... Got it, glad you cleared that up.
Here's a thought: Are you writing off the game because of how the GAMEPLAY is or are you sizing this game up based on how a male avatars fashion sense LOOKS? Which is more......"gay"? Changing up how a character looks is nothing new. In 2001 it was Snake's mullet in MGS2. Then it was his beard in MGS3. And more recently Snake's Wilford Brimley 'stache in MGS4. In Res-Evil it was first Jill and Chris, then entirely new player characters Claire and Leon in Res-Evil 2, ...
How does anybody drive this thing? As soon as it comes across a bunch of martial artists it's all blowned up. :P
Oh and her top stays on cause of teh bewbs ^_^'
"You remain irrevocably human ergo some of my answers you will understand and some of them you will not......" :)
There is a scene in MGS2 just before you get onto the new metal gear. At this point you have been through a lot as Raiden on your first day of school only to find that it's not over yet. Bomb diffusing, a man who dodges bullets, a woman who dodges bullets, heart attacks, harrier jets, Semtex, managing to keep from drowning!, greeting the prez, farewell to the prez, and now a new metal gear. It only lasts a few seconds but when Raiden, Snake and Otacon turn and walks toward the camera in s...
No add-on in the history of gaming has amounted to much when pitted next to the system or base that it's for. From NES R.O.B and Segas Activator to Sonys EyeToy and 360s HD-DVD drive. They just don't make it. That being said, I will not buy Move. The reason why the Wiimote is where it is in terms of gaming is because it IS the controller for the Wii. When developers make a game for the Wii they don't have to worry about losing money due to lack of there being a Wiimote in every bo...
One, LA Noire is 1940s LA not 2010. As such the city is already going to have a different feel (i.e no highways, no Capitol Records building, LA Convention Center etc...) Second, LA Noire is not standard GTA flare, it's a crime drama, so the city would only be the same in name only. Three, we've had these GTA games:
GTA (Liberty, Vice, San Andreas)
GTA:L 1969 (London)
GTAIII (Liberty, I skipped 2 because it made no mention of what city/cities it's ...
Vice was heavily influenced by Stone/De Palma's Scarface. The soundtrack VC had was the best in the whole series IMHO and that partially stemmed from the games setting in the 80's. They could do a Vice City, but what would be iconic in it's present day representation? What I mean is, GTA:IV had recreations of iconic NY features (Statue of Liberty, MetLife, the church where "it" all went down, subway system, the museum, Coney Island etc....) In Vice we have the strip of h...
Don't get me wrong, Kinect and it's abilities sound nice but until you can control games with more going on than just driving and sports the Kinect will be a wow-for-a-week device. Now, I understand that it and Move are going after the Wii demographic, but the PS3 and yes, even 360 are seeking to grab an audience that they should let Nintendo handle. I'd like for their focus to stay on creating games for the gamers who have been at this a while. It just seems like by creating thes...
Rockstar should do another Midnight Club. I loved the customization in that game, and the cars handling didnt feel like I was guiding a boat. The AI didn't rubberband to stay competitive either, when I got in the lead, if I hit something NPC cars weren't right there to fly ahead and I'd have to spend the rest of the race playing catch up. They can add player customization too, even though we'd only see our character in cutscenes. C'mon Rockstar, lets go to Tokyo, or they c...
