I think I see where you are coming from. However, to you and I it may have seemed weak but to the other 55 million owners it may not have been the case.
Also, next gen really isn’t setting the world on fire immediately. This time it feels to me more of an upgrade of my systems and not that oh wow I have to have this type of feeling.
You are one of those people that believe the tech demo level of graphics is coming to the system on day one or one day 🤣🤣 Even if it was in game engine it wasn’t gameplay for a lot of those games 1st of all, second the non exclusives may not have been running off the ps5.
This is the sad truth. It's like apple vs android. People like what they like and with the ps4 even I have to say they done a better job of games but not so much the hardware.

MS spoke about the Xbox SX all the way in 2018 or 17, There was no anticipation buildup, they revealed the machine at an award show, done a poor job on their "gameplay reveal" Sony said f- all and then showed the controller which got people talking, their flop was the dev session Mark Cerny and the added fake audience.

I am honestly not blown away by what I have seen of the next-gen so far. Sony maginally done better than Xbox first outting. Games wise the both look ok and maybe 20% better than their current systems. The ps5 design is different but looks very plastic like a cheaper end version of a more expensive Sony product.

As a fan of all systems but Nintendo first, I have to say that this is true. Xbox one was such a disappointment for games I went PS4 and loved it. I want to be excited for series X but so far I’m reallY underwhelmed. They have not left much surprise and been talking about it so much and then revealed a load of sub par current gen looking games play. Their strategy is odd as well and not sure the best way to sell your new system. What do I know. Game On
Wow, I thought it was April the 1st! No wonder they are no longer making consoles. If this is their big announcement which in sure it isn't as it's not the 4th, but if this was it then it's terrible. Micro GG systems are pointless, especially in this day and age. Also, each only has 4 games. Okay.
Good, more countries should do that. It's not biased it's appreciating their own offerings because it fits their lives and preference. But they love white people, Dunkin doughnuts, and McDonalds so they aren't that bias lol

TR already reinvented it self and is fantastic.
The Dual Shock isn’t the best controller let alone the most comfortable so I totally agree with @cyberCowboy. Best controller went N64, GameCube and the Xbox controller minus the original Xbox. Today’s, Xbox has the best and most comfortable controller. Sony I hope deliver something special with the remodel
