I will say it again. Don't expect miracles when you release a game on other systems and release a gimp version or a 6-9 month delayed version on the Wii U and expect it to sell. I't's false expectations.
Also, you are releasing unfinished and buggy games and are constantly patching them up which Nintendo doesn't really do because of quality and this is a threat to third parties and it always has been.

They maybe worried because it's still the core that have purchased and that hasn't exceeded or expanded their market from PS3. Also, they lose money on every machine so they need games and fast otherwise their margin isn't great.

This is sad news and even more so because I preferred playing COD BO2 on the wii U over the other 2 systems which I had at the time.
Nintendo should just buy a few more studios and cater for these genres as they are a software also.
They could easily succeed as a self contained unit next time around if they just had some dam vision.

I have a Ps4 and very happy with it not the way fanboys think its the second coming of Christ.
The feature is great but it's nothing that MS can't copy so why is everyone forgetting this? The systems now look like twins lol. Wii U is the only differentiatter and features will be exclusove for a limited time till the other can copy or find a slight alternative if there is a patent issue.

I have a ps4 this time around but frankly who cares? You will be hard pressed to be able to tell the difference if you don't have a 4k or high end HD TV.
Also, how long is this stupid debate going to go on for when we know the xbone is slightly below par to the ps4's processing power? I don't see many of these people going on about how much more better it looks on PC compared to ps4 or other games.
