they fit perfectly in what sells these days, great shooters, great gameplay and ONLINE yes online

i get what you're saying but the good side of all of this is as a gamer, all these extremely popular games(gta, Cod, angry or flabby bird wii sports)...... make me proud as a gamer
gaming is now taken as a serious part of entertainment, a multi billion industry that is rapidly growing, not that nerdy image that ignorant people throw at us back in the day

2- Gears of War 4
N64 had good third party support man, u forgot all the turoks, duke nukems, quakes, dooms, sport games, WWF games, star wars games, mortal combats, rayman, acclaim games, DMA design games(body harvest, space station etc.), etc...
plus N64 had RARE WARE develop for it, they gave some of the best games of all time(goldeneye, banjo 1 and 2, DK64,perfect dark, diddy kong racing, jet force, blast corpse) , plus it was very powerful at the time and pushed for 4 player multiplayer w...
i love the wiiu but the truth has to be said, if i were a 3rd party developer, i'd absolutely dread the wiiu, i mean even if i put time and effort programming for its architecture, i'll still be waaay behind the games built on ps4 and Xbox one and with abysmal sales, it's a Lose-Lose situation

if nintendo handled the wiiu well like Microsoft did with the Xbox 360, wiiu would easily be(imo) the best nextgen system, it would be the true successor for the SNES/N64, they had a full year advantage and they just blow it up
imagine that u can have all third party games in their full glory with full online support and the Nintendo pure gold 1st party games in even better gfx and full online support

the system was aimed for the hardcore and the casual and so far it has failed miserably in fronts
don't get me wrong i have a wiiu and absolutely love nintendo games but i feel so bad for the talented studios at nintendo, developers like Retro studios, they wish they work on ps4 or Xbox one, they work on an inferior system with much lower sales
damn those are pure Class A list of games(except for hyrule warriors), hopefully these move consoles and enhance the system's bad image which i believe is exaggerated
you have to understand that human beings are very complex individuals, it's way larger than you think, u can't classify people in "certain" groups
