No one on Earth would pay $70 for a game like this, lol
Racing against Sophy is like racing against real human drivers minus the road rage. It's the best of both worlds. A top tier challenge but without easily triggered gamer emotions turning a good race into a 10 car pile up.
It's not a question of money but time. I'm not going to waste my precious time on broken ugly glitchy messes.
This is why PC gaming is a headache and console gaming is an easy pleasure. My PS5 just works.
PC gamers love to jump onto the latest half-baked broken early access game bandwagon. Nothing surprising here.
PS5 has faster clockspeed. That's why it has such an insane cooling solution. Under stress in huge areas with lots to load and render it will outperform the Series X.
People who aren't interested in VR ignore it like it doesn't exist but clearly that's where Playstation has been focusing it's energy.
We all knew this would be a problem. How many games have been held back or lost features because devs couldn't get them to work on the Xbox S I wonder?
Exactly. The real question is why does the gaming population ever buy games at release when every single game gets post launch patches to fix bugs. Back before consoles had hard drives devs actually put effort into releasing the game in the best possible state. Now it's a given that games are released with bugs that continue to be fixed months down the line.
This is the sort of brain drain that happens when conglomerates gobble up smaller devs.
They should have retained the sound. As an option at the very least.
It will be 50% VR if not more. Consoles are perfect for VR. More powerful than stand alone devices and easier setup than PC based VR.
Sony didn't make Fat Princess they just published it.
Indies are more loved and promoted now than ever.
Not a surprise. The PS5 runs at a higher clock speed which leads to large advantages in certain situations.
Because gamepass isn't meant to make money for developers or even Microsoft. Not now. It's Microsoft's attempt at a Trojan Horse. Use GP to get more Xbox owners then once they have caught up to Playstation in console sales jack up the price of GP.
All this plus it makes them focus their games around add-ons and MTX in order to make up for all the lost revenue due to gamepass.
It's going to play like a Fallout mod. If that's your cup of tea you'll like it. But it isn't going to reinvent the genre.
Same story with every PC release. The extra few frames aren't worth the headache.
Forspoken and Babylon's Fall both had good mechanics but bad stories and empty worlds. Maybe they will address that going forward. Maybe not.
