Very judgemental. That's not the PC way my son. 😄
@CrismonWing69
They ARE different dude.
Musicians make the wast majority of their money on concerts. After that it's endorsements, appearances and other things like that.
Movies make the wast majority of their money in the cinemas. After that it's movie related merchandise.
Going digital with movies and music have already changed them and it will still change and not for the better.
Do games...
@CrimsonWing69
The problem is that people think this is the exact same thing as music or movies which is not at all. Even music and movies are different. With music, you can listen to absolutely free. Any song from any artist is free. Go on youtube or spotify or any other website/service and you can listen for free. Did you notice that vinyls are coming back? Did you ever wonder why? Think about it!
With movies there is still a huge market for blu-rays an...
That would be one of the negative effects of streaming only. The prices would be set by these companies and there would be absolutely nothing we could do about it. They could keep full prices for games to eternity if they wished because the 2nd hand market which keeps them in check now will be gone.
If streaming takes off, it will radically change gaming to a point you won't even recognize in every way imaginable. I personally don't want that as a gamer because the changes will be for the worst. So in a sense, yes, stadia and services like it would destroy gaming. What MS is doing is different and at least they offer a physical console and not exclusively streaming.
At least we found one Stadia supporter in you.😂
But not at IGN huh? You guys there hold the fort strong!✊😄
After all, we got about 5 Stadia videos daily before it released.
I wonder where they are now. Probably sitting in a corner, crying and repeating that: Streaming is the future, streaming is the future, streaming is the future.😂
Yes, in about 50-100 years we will look back on this comment and have a good laugh, won't we?
Streaming is not the future for the next 4-5 decades at least. Internet speeds and infrastructure is nowhere near to a point where this can work properly for everyone.
I think it can be relaxing after a long day of stress at the workplace. To each their own.
As an adult, I have tons of responsibilities and things things to do every day. Yet, I can still find the time to play. If you aren't able to find the time to play video games than either look for another hobby or just do what you have to and stop crying about the fact that you don't have time to play.
@Muzikguy,
Not only believe but defend it to the death. That is how some people are and they will still do it saying "but it works flawlessly for me, no lag bro." They expect us to believe that also.
They still will and call it a success.
How about never?😁
You got issues "bro".
That is almost no difference at all. I was hoping that they would get rid of the touchpad. Oh well.
I don't get the point of this.
Well, I would say that they do have to be fun. However, fun is different for everyone. What one person finds fun, another might find borring. Death Stranding is a good example.
Well if all you play is Fortnite than no wonder. Broaden your horizons and you will see that there are plenty of violent video games.
People cheer this because they are easily hoodwinked by words like *gamepass* *free games* *magic of the cloud* *services* *services* *services*.
Their little eyes light up because actually thinking about where all this will lead would be beyond their mental capacity.
As long as they get 10 thousand indie titles a month and can play them on their phones on the go than it's all good for them. This should tell you what kind of gamers they are.
So you don't like one AAA franchise and rhat automatically means you don't like any AAA game.....that's some nice logic there.
