Battlefield is not what it once was. SJW's had to ruin that as well.
They could have been successful with the vita if only they supported it with games. I think they can still do it with a new handheld that is dedicated to gaming and will give you an experience that mobile phones can't. For example: amazing Playstation 1st party exclusives.
Why would there be consoles? What would be the point exactly? If nintendo didn't have exclusives, the Switch wouldn't be this successful as phones are the king of handheld gaming now. If there were no exclusives than why would you buy a console when you could buy a PC that will play your game better, fast and will do a hell of a lot more than just play games. Without exclusives, plaforms die. If you don't understand that, than there is a position ooen for you at the Xbox team.

Yeah, those two factors kind of killed it but if it had killer exclusives coming in on the regular than people would have looked over the memory issue because of the games. But they didn't support it with games and that is why it has died. They could still make a good handheld but they need to support it. I would much rather buy that than a Switch.
If you get rid of exclusives than platforms will die and only one will remain; PC.
Exclusives are what make a platform successful. Not features, not services but exclusive games.
Or how about make a Playstation portable that you actually support Sony. I would want that instead as a Playstation gamer.
And that is why everyone should buy Jedi Fallen Order to send a message to EA that this is the kind of games we gamers want. Not the MT filled, live service bullcrap.

If MS is going down this path, there won't be an Xbox platform within 10 years. This will be their last physical console and after that Xbox will be a "virtual" console that will be able to be reached from any device. Than slowly it will become something else and you will have zero choices but will have to put up with digital and streaming and your gaming will be up to your internet speeds or availability. Also, Xbox was dead last in every single gener...
There was a Spawn game on PS1 called Spawn the Eternal. Most people hated it, but I liked it. It's old now and haven't aged well but I rhink it was a decent game at the time.
A new Spawn game would be amazing and a movie too.
And because of that rumor, many people will not be buying a PS5 as they will be waiting to see if PS exclusives will come to PC.
I played the first one and I don't think it is as good as to warant a sequel.
