You bring up a good point. There isn't enough time to play all those games for sure. There is a good reason we all have huge backlogs.
And video game streaming services keep flopping hard.
Just because it works for movies and music, does not mean it will work for video games.
Does anyone want a Netflix of video games? I don't.
I'm more than happy to see games that current gen systems can't run as it means that those are truly next gen.
However, I did not see that in BG3.

I'm not worried. Actually if anything, I'm impatient. I want to see the PS5 already and games runing on it and not happy about Sony playing this stupid waiting game with MS. I think it's childish. I couldn't care less about the XBSX. All I see here is a opportunity handed on a gold platter by Sony to MS. A chance for MS to screw Sony. That is what I see. Sony is confident now. Confidence has got the better of them before. Looks like they forgot already.
I don't think that people forget that. But BC is not the next-gen version. People want the next gen version of games that come out close to the release of next gen so if they know they can bring their game from PS4 to PS5 and will be upgraded to the PS5 version, than they are more likely to buy on PS4 if they really want to play the game as soon as it's released.
If you mean I'm not planning on buying the PS5, than you are wrong.
I never said that people will forget the PS5 but if MS keeps dripping XBXS info than that will be on the forefront and people who are on the fence very easily would lean that way as that product was talked about more.

Let's wait and see what Sony announces......whenever that may be. Than everyone can decide for themselves if they are excited or not.
Sure you may save money but you will not have a game collection to fall back on when your internet is out. You will not have the option to play a game that you always wanted but it isn't listed on your gamepass anymore. You will not be able to play a game the way you want if it doesn't sit well with the publisher (look at what Ubisoft did with AC Odyssey players and that is just a taste of things to come).
Netflix of games would change gaming for the worst.
