aight aight i still think that COD4 (&6) stands its ground graphically but somehow they cheated because they probably allocated that the processing power to gfx - instead of physics which the game was lacking.

I was argumenting against the fact that MW2 is mediocre because the gfx arent top notch.

Tell the developpers to think outside the box. Its ok for mgs4 because it started it (from a blockbuster point of view).
but Dvpers have a tendency to do the same thing at the same time. Greyish look, aging of main characters, abusing the bump mapping, cover system etc..

Forza 3 is 720p 8 cars
GT5 is 1080p 16 cars
even if they had the same visuals (res. aside)
that would still mean that GT5 pwns All because, frankly who cares about NFS anymore.

Splinter Cell games are based around darkness, so its easier to focus ur energy on the few visible objects that need proper rendering.
Uncharted display magnificent gfx in broad daylight, as far as the eye can see.
that's not even a challenge.
Also we saw what the ubi engine could do with Asscreed2 and while its an awesome game it doesnt look any better than UC2

Im playing CoD for the intensity not for the gfx.
CoD is the master when it comes to FPS.
Im paying for the fun not for the eye candy and this is what CoD is all about!
PS: ur console hardware didnt magically upgrade itself overnight so dont except better gfx each time they create a new iteration

Vista works very well, no failure, its smooths and it seems more stable than XP.
Most importantly, its user friendly if u just TRY.
i just hope that I can swtich to original japanese voice acting + subtitles...

I might give this one a try.. it s been a while
glad to see a lot of positive feedback, because this game is a gem.
And unlike most games nowadays, the single player mode is challenging and long enough to justify the price tag, even at full price.
True that, if you are not familiar with the whole 'anime' thing, then maybe Valkyria wont appeal to you - unless you are looking for something different.
Still, the athmosphere is very close to what you could expect from a Jprg. Just watch the gametrailers review, thats what made me buy it...
Btw i heard somewhere that warhawk was in the top 3 of the most played games on PSN...
i really liked SC and i want to play it but since i got a ps3 and i wont buy a 360, well, u can go F*** urself ubi.
