halo is definitely one of the best games out there.

IMO - Warhawk is on top of the list when it comes to fun but Halo 3 is more popular due to large sales. (I didnt play H3 but i did play H2 multi)
and according to your reasoning how do you propose to find out which game is GOTY?
- meta 'biais' critics?
- internet survey? (that most gamers will never see)
- telephone survey?
- developper survey?
There are too many sources of biais everywhere and each person has a different GOTY.
of course you could always find a group of outrageously arrogant small a$s who consider themselves the elite who would pass on their holy judgmen...

btw gamesblow, dont be happy cause crysis bombed. its still a great game and it raises the bar (just like the ps3 u preciously love) so lets just wish that these guys adapt their engine to the ps3 :)

if cod4 didnt have online i wouldnt have bought it. i played it on Hardened to make sure that it would last more than 5 hours and it did :)

well the 360 has been available for 2 years so it make sense that the attach rate is bigger. but if i had a 360 i wouldnt have bought bioshock. (sure rent tho)
On another note, i just realized how overpriced cinema have become in my area.
We all paid too much for our gaming systems (not including TV and such)
and we are still paying for the games...

As long as the ps3 has a sufficient install base to attract the vast majority of developpers im satisfied with my choice. (so far its moving in the right direction)
We also have exclusives games from sony studios (which was the 3rd biggest studio in term of employees behind EA and UBI - before the recent mergers)
