ummm. I didn't finish the first, but the graphics were pretty damn good for when it came out, not to mention the game was NOT terrible; the combat could have used work though.
Funny, I generally lost all faith in current J-Rpgs until playing this. He's welcome to his opinion, however I do not agree with reviewers reasoning.
Sure the game would be much better on the ps3, but at least it gives Europe, Japan and those with modded wiis (or pcs with emulators) a reason to dust it off and play again. I;'m only about 17 hours in so far, but I'm having a good time.
Nintendo made casuals their new fanbase and once the wii hype declined ( much like music games ) they turned back to their betrayed fans, many of which are all still ravenously loyal. Deus Ex was awesome, but even on the hardest difficulty it was pretty easy. Even the bosses weren't that bad once you figured out the patterns.
