Im sure this game will look great and be alot of fun. But this isnt the Battlefront game we've been waiting for. If they would have just called it Battlefield:StarWars they probably could have avoided much of this. People would still complain but ea would have an out. Im not saying this is a reskinned battlefield, but from what we've heard it doesnt sound like Battlefront.
Well said...i was playing galactic conquest until a couple years ago. That mode gave the game almost unlimited replay value. This game looks good and ill probably pick it up because i dont have an fps on my ps4...but this us not the battlefront sequel we were looking for.
Battlefront 2 didnt have much of a campaign, but I played the single player galactic conquest mode for years. And the excuse for no space battles is ridiculous. There is no reason not to do them similar to how they were done in battlefront 2.
Maybe...but did I read somebody say they lost almost a billion dollars??? off a 1 percent stock drop??? how much do you think activision could POSSIBLY be worth??? Activision WISHES they could lose a billion dollars!!!
the comment said they may have to cut support in 2010 or 2o11 if they don't cut the price of the ps3. if sony doens't cut the price of the ps3 in the next two years they deserve to lose support. I am a big fan of the xbox 360, but I want a ps3 also. just not at the current price.
Come on?! this article is a good thing. Everybody who reads this that wants this game is going to want it even more now! This game and a price drop will get a ps3 in my house.
than a rental. Should be able to get throught the game in an afternoon, if it is anything like the arcade.
A couple things first...
I bought a PS3 on launch day, sold it for a nice profit, and regretted it ever since.
I bought a 360 on launch day, have had it replaced three times and never regretted it.
I bought a Wii a year after it came out, I love it but NEVER play it.

The arcade 360 is actually great for hardcore gamers...it gives people a cheap console to buy multiple copies of to set up awesome basement parties.
every car commercialy you see shows a car thousands of dollars more than the base model...you don't see people screaming at toyota for misleading them...you should research every purchase you make. THINK before you give your hard earned money to ANY company.
I loved my ps2, but the second time the drive went out on me, I got an xbox. It was a fun machine and got me into fps games. I'ld love to have a ps3 (i waited in line for a day and a half for one before i sold it for a grand). But, right now the 360 has the exclusives i love. Dead rising, lost planet, gears, crackdown.
