Although I am a Battlefield fan, I always loved COD's very detailed character models. Even though most of the shit you wear you don't even use, it still looks better than most other characters models out there for modern shooters.
Not a single fucken shooter review from IGN without mentioning the words Call of Duty.
Good old days, people talking shit then seeing them get owned in a clan match.
Anyone who uses their CC on a console is only asking for vulnerability, they made PSN cards for a reason.
was the fucken title suppose to be a pun. seriously
PS3 versions of "The Orange Box" was outsourced to EA's UK Team. Valve did not have a PS3 team at that time. They only had a PC and 360 department.
Today they have whole teams of PS3, 360 and PC.
So yes, this is Valve's first actual in-house team developed PS3 game. Not some port developer that fucks it up for them.
I think it's best to leave the PC version out of this comparison.
PC version on max:

Remember the map packs for KZ2!?
Bought it and searched for a game, and not one single fucken match was found. Most wasted money I've ever spent.
Looks like something taken straight from a Victoria 4 model.
Not so fun when you feel like a straw in a haystack.
When it's a smaller number you feel more relevant.
Battlefield uses HDR audio mixing- more advanced than most typical sound designs you hear in other games. And indeed most games do not use HDR audio, including the highly known COD series.
By comparison, in a game of COD, a gunshot up-close will sound just the same as it would faraway but with a lower volume. In other words, if someone shot a 9mm from the other side of map you won't hear it.
DICE, using HDR audio, will make every gun sounds different when...
I remember a video where he was presenting at a conference showing cross game-video chat and a whole bunch of other features not seen even today.
It's somewhere on youtube, but can't find. Sucks he quit, he was the only one pushing for new ideas that are actually relevant to gaming.
Which would you prefer?
Use processing power to render real-time cut-scene and load the next level simultaneously, but slower?
or
Playback a video with same quality as real-time and use all processing power to load the next level faster?
Games saves only. The whole point is the connection between the NGP.
