The guy who owns Oakley sunglasses also owns RED Digital Cinema camera (one of the biggest digital camera producers for Hollywood.
It wouldn't make a different who is funding the project, as long as it is supported.
Yeah, but when BF4 servers are down - does everyone really replay single player? I really find this argument invalid in retrospect of other gaming habits.
I'ma let you finish, but that's a lot of agrees for the love of grammar.
Thought it was a really neat take on explaining the game world / universe without relying on over-the-top narration. Pretty cool insight on how things happened, and requires a bit of brainpower to piece it together.
Really excited.
How come when a game is "poorly optimized" on the Xbox One, everyone claims the console is a heap of trash... but when a game is "poorly optimized" on the Playstation 4 - the game is a heap of trash?
And which system is harder to optimize for right now...
The problem I'd find with 8v8 is if there were 16 Titans on the field - it would be too much / awful. Last Man Standing is intense as it is.
I think it feels balanced as it is.
The original article mentions that after the new SDK, 1080p will be a comfortable fit for Sniper...
Did anyone read the original article? Why are we linking a Twitter post? Is this news for the sake of hate generation?
I don't believe it would paint devs into a corner. It would be digital-only, and the consumer would be purchasing from the Microsoft game store instead of retail. The only issue is sales that appear at retail outlets, but Major Nelson had recently mentioned that MS is looking for a way to match these sales digitally.
It might be a good move on their behalf to have a cheaper version of the console.
I mean, let's be honest here. Sony reports an instant loss on each console they make, being the console costs more than they're selling for. Microsoft at least turns a $10 profit per, which is more like $5 after the retailer takes their cut.
I'd say selling for loss is Sony's downfall. Granted, the bigger the demand - the smaller the component costs, but nothing is going to turn them a profit per system for a few years. They're essentially digging a money ...
But what's fascinating is that last week's argument was that having green consoles on shelves meant no one was buying them. ;)
He is the press guy...
It looks like some comments skipped on reading the article. This story is about some X1 owners who complained to MS support for a refund and their license was revoked thereafter.
No free Premium here.
"The real woman who inspired GTA V's bikini gal was model Shelby Welinder. She was hired by video game producer Rockstar through her agency to model for the advertisement in the fall of 2012."

I think everyone on N4G is blinded by real logic.
This is most likely the truth here, Microsoft has been stating for a long time that they're pumping out the supply.
Wow... Get your head out of your behind.
I like how everyone is equating seeing extra X1s on shelves as "not selling well." Has anyone considered that Microsoft just had a bigger supply than Sony at launch? Major Nelson was often quoted over not worrying about supply constraints.
I'm really discerned to see how legitimate people stating facts about their town being "sold out" are getting downranked to oblivion. It really shows the intent and interest of this site's demographic.
Same with some of the Ryse comments above. I absolutely love the game, and it looks beautiful. Not sure what some of the reviewers were looking for.
There was a huge 2-3 minute delay in startup post update install. I wonder if he turned off his X1 post-update and the system is still configuring itself.
I waited it out, and my system works flawlessly now. Wish they would have put a "Please Wait" notification, because it was a little odd.
Ultra excited for Ori and I don't care if I'm the only one.
