Agreed. They definitely have to keep it fresh. What was successful a long time ago can't be said today, those are old and long gone mechanics, albeit my favorite and most nostalgic mechanics. But the show must go on!
Get over yourself. Idk why people want all of these remakes, the games were good enough as is. Seriously, you're not getting a remake, and you're DEFINITELY not getting an "HD REMASTER" for those particular games, since it wouldn't be possible. By the time the PS4 comes out, it will be using a mid-end video card from last gen, whereas today it would be using a high-end video card from today's gen. And PC gamers will keep updating their rigs.
Not knocking the PS4, the performance it will bring will be quite a wallop for console owners. I only hope they experience 1080p 60fps games just as much as us PC gamers.

Well, when you think about it.. consoles have to be pushed. New and better hardware will only mean the same thing that happened this generation.. most games will probably be 30fps because the console has to be future-proof. It'd be pretty hard to keep a game running at 60fps when technology keeps advancing for PC gamers. 30fps games that look phenomenal on console is fine with me. I didn't even PATCH my version of Skyrim for PC.. and it ran perfectly fine.. i've ran into virtually no game breaking problems.
I didn't patch up because Bethesda is known for having shitty patches.. New Vegas.
So i waited.. and a new patch came to fix the old patch.. i finally updated.

If you have the PC version, allow the game to use 4GB RAM. My game would crash up until i turned on the flag for it to use more of my RAM.Check the Skyrim Nexus for the mod to do it.
