DarX,
Big majority of console gamers aren’t ready for 8k 120fps. Even if both PS5 and Scarlett are capable of bringing it monitors and TVs aren’t even remotely priced in a way that the typical gamer can just upgrade. I could be way off but I’m guessing an 8k monitor supporting 120 FPS is going to run someone an easy 1k right now. It’ll be years before those kind of tvs and monitors are family friendly when it comes to price.
I have both pro and the X and do most of my gaming on the X mainly due to my friends being on their and generally speaking if something is multi platform then Xbox is the better choice. Yes exclusives do matter which is the only reason I picked up a Pro. HZD is my all time fav game. For HZD, TLOU, Spider-Man and GoW the purchase was well worth it in my opinion.
Detroit is an amazing game. Def scoop it up if you haven’t experienced it yet.
Is there any gaming sites anyone likes? All I see are people in all articles trashing the site associated with the article.
I put a some 90 hrs into Anthem when it released. At its base it’s a solid 3rd person shooter. There’s just minimal content, the loot drops are not worth the effort and the story was crap. It needs pvp and a revamped damage system. They have lots of different damage types. I was expecting a dragon age style combat system at higher difficulties, needing certain damage types and builds to take down enemies. Not the case everything is just a massive bullet sponge. It’s a beautiful world but it...
Maybe. But Destiny is going to rule the world when it’s goes f2p in sept.
Subscription tv is getting just as pricey as regular cable when you start piecing packages together. I just switched to Xbox ultimate pass, that with iTunes, and if your getting Netflix, Amazon and the numerous other services available your pushing 100 to 150 a month. It’s right up there with cable.
If it came loaded with Doom I would get it. That soundtrack is still my all time fav soundtrack of any game ever.
If game companies unionize guess who suffers? The gamer. Workers would demand cushy pay for minimal work. Games would take longer to come out prices of games would probably go up to cover the sudden increase in pay and free health insurance employees would probably demand and get. Unions, today, are a cancer to business and expansion.
You don’t think Microsoft is going to put out a beefier console than Sony? They will but games is what matters most. I didn’t catch if halo will be a launch title. That will help them immensely in a holdiay sales competition.
I’ll get both consoles eventually. If both drop around the same time I’ll get Scarlett since it’s where I do most of my gaming. But.... if HZD 2 is a launch title it may make me rethink which I get first
No they didn’t. Luke totally dodged the subject, on the live stream, when asked about it. Season 8 is focused heavily on the Crucible but no timeline was given for a Trials return.
Destiny, post Activision, looks really promising. Cross platform saves across all consoles, PC and the new Stadia. Buy what you want to play now. All new content doesn’t require previous expansions to play. Buy what you want to play. Don’t want the new story content you can just buy a single season pass. Next season is focused heavily on Pvp. Plus D2 year 1 content is going free to play.
This sounds like it might be a meaty expansion like TTK if it’s comjng with a physical copy.
I think this will be the first new stuff without
Activision. The season of opulence stuff is the last with them. That being said I’m stoked to be heading back to the moon. Also it isn’t recycled content since the moon hasn’t been playable in D2
Still looks like a mediocre 3rd person game at best. Gunplay looked terrible, the brief look that is. Still say it’s a walking/stealth sim at heart with tons of cinematic.
Looks ok. The combat is far from anything amazing. Reminded me of Days Gone basic hack and slash attacks. I’ll get it on sale most likely.
D3 isn’t coming till fall 2020 so people have time to get over their Destiny/Activision angst. I’m betting it will be a next gen launch release.
Agree with last comment. It gets a touch blurry at times, but it runs smooth and is a hell of a lot of fun to play. I’m guessing this whole 30/60 1080 or 4K argument will be moot with the next gen consoles. At least it better be.
You an undercover employee? Cheering a little too hard their bruh!
Many people have caps on their internet. That alone is a reason to give Stadia a hard pass. It’s like they say, “if you can’t touch it then you don’t own it!”
