So much more to see in the hi-res version! like snakes hair wafting in the wind, or the lazer scope on the pistol, the texture detail when using scope (as IGN said, no pixelation). Bodes well for full game. Kojima usually goes undercover during the later stages of development so i would expect the same to happen here. And usually the best material is saved for the final game to keep the suprise level very high.

Interesting MS now sees this as an added "feature" over the competition. The mass market audience i think will be unawares to the 360 hardware failings to begin with of course so will no doubt see it as a dangling carrot!! However, i don`t think a buyer is going to choose one over the other just because it has a superior warranty scheme! Games sell systems, not warrantys.

Incredible smoke!! im starting to change my tune with every new batch of previews and screenshots.
Quad Core (Intel) and 8800GTX or 2900XT (1gig version), 2 gig ram min i think will get you a fantastic result. Crossfire or SLI will of course improve things even further. Even 4 gig on XP should give you 2.8gig ish free (depending on mobo) to play with. Nvidia and ATI/AMD need to improve their drivers before release but i have a sneaky feeling new drivers for both will hit which will see big performance increases!
