Don`t really think you can call them current as we are still awaiting the 1st games to release. It will be better to judge once we see them in gameplay scenarios.

Well the basic HD is 120gig..........so again depending on cost, it may be more viable to stick with 120, with the user upgrading if he/she wants.

That won`t happen....100%. Also, the next round of consoles are defined as next generation so to speak, not how much more powerful console X or Y is compared to the previous console X or Y. Like i say, even closer to 5x the power of PS3 will proba...
The next round of consoles of course need to be cost effective to both consumer and manufacturer, so don`t expect any technological revolutions. I`ll take a stab and suggest something more....evolutionary....
