It does look really good, easily up there with the best of them! FF13 is taking my time at the mo, but im sure i`ll pick it up at some point, though the poor shotting mechanic may need more investigating. Would of been the PC version but my 3870x2 died a horrible death 8(. 360 getting the love this time.
What a great game it is! I only started the series from 7 onwards but im enjoying equally as much as the previous entries. The production values are through the roof! PS3 version.

Dreadful article! One version has many more reviews. Game journalism has really gotten worse down the years. C+VG have been atrocious for a number of years now. They are very slow with articles, and even then they link to other sites! V.poor...."4/10 See Me".

You know, i didn`t play either. I love violence don`t get me wrong, but i dunno......i just think i`ve outgrown this style of game.
Visuals are certainly unmatched on consoles thus far, both short and long term. Still don`t know if the game is my "thing".
Best lighting EVER! The detail during the night sections were phenomenal!!!! And the new tracks look stunning! THIS is why we are waiting! Clearly they are polishing the life out of it! Nothing will come close to this for a VERY long time.

The thing you are talking about was based on ONE non gameplay cutscene in the DF article when the PS3 version dropped to 26fps. The screen res will be immediately obvious when viewing 1st hand. There are missing shadows and worse aniso filtering. But as is usual with these comparions, single console owners will buy for their machine of choice.
