The scope of the visuals in God of War 3 should be increased more than 20-fold, so the little intricacies like sweat effects and lighting cues may be sacrificed in order to represent the more large-scale battlefields, but hey that sounds like a fair trade to me.
But now it has gotten to the point where I go out of my way NOT to watch anyone play a game that I haven't played through yet. It just ruins all the surprises and unexpected gameplay elements that one would formally discover when playing through the game themselves.
