I love physical media but I miss the days we could load the game directly from the cartridge/disc without a lengthy install... At least with an ssd the install will be worth it with faster loading times.
My only complaint honestly with PS4 is loading times. I'm excited about the news of an SSD coming built in PS5. Otherwise my PS4 is perfect. Faster loading times would be a good enough reason to upgrade and play my PS4 games on a faster backwards compatible PS5 :).
Yeah ... He could have even been a human but a black or asian one with female as gender... But SJW aside lmao I respect the developper's vision and will reserve my judgment when the game releases and we know more about this dude's story besides "another white human male".
I think other devs would be "competent" enough that I'd be super happy to buy their GoT game however CDPR would be a match made in heaven!
I only joined the Playstation camp late last gen PS3 out of those I only played Resistance 3 which I really liked!! If the rest of those are just as good I would be very curious to give them a shot.
Ah lot of those IPs could have been turned into great games but were otherwise ruined by EA.
The Switch has a TON of amazing games in it's short lifespan thus far. Only complaint I heard is the limited amount of AAA third party original releases (i.e. not re-releases from previous gen)
My top pick would be CD Projekt by far!! But I would be surprised if a studio like that ever did a licensed game based off of either TV or movies. I mean The Witcher is based off of a series of novels but they arguably made the books popular vs licensed games usually rely on movies/shows to sell... I.e. they could give the game of thrones license to a shit studio and make more money from overcharging the license to the developper knowing a mediocre game based on GoT would still sell well.
Yes! But didn't Bethesda say they turned it down a while back i.e. pre Skyrim?
It is an impressive port but it makes sense that the Switch's cutscenes would be pre rendered unlike the PS4. I think I would still prefer PS4 version but really nice port overall.
I wonder if Ori and the Blind Forest will make it to Switch eventually same as Cuphead.
This looks really good !
I really want to see and play what others create too! Do you know if it'll require ps plus?
Oh shit there are fewer puddles on the beach at 1:30! That's it I can't buy this game!
...no seriously very impressive visuals on Switch !
I thought the Vita port of Borderlands 2 was pretty decent, I think Borderlands would play even much better on Switch.
It'll likely be the undisputed best kart racer on non-nintendo platforms anyways :)
None of those are "musts" besides release dates. So far most Nintendo directs have no disappointed. Love the new presentation format.
If the game is really 2-3 years away maybe it's not too late to dump the Frosbite engine... Ugh hard to imagine anything positive coming from Bioware these days!
I have no clue if scalebound would have been any good... But the game was marketed well enough that I wish it hadn't been cancelled :/ To be fair loads of games that were good and sometimes great were "brought back" and were total disasters (Duke Nukem comes to mind for example).
Never really got to playing it but happy to hear positive reviews before sinking my teeth into it :)
