Yes! I've been enjoying playing the game, but only when it decides to work properly, which is rare. I've spent about 2 hours working on getting it to play well, and about 30 minutes playing it. Would not have purchased if I'd had the chance to demo it first. Which is a shame, because when it works, it's a blast. I'm just hoping they do right by the player base and release bug fixes soon.

This year has been, and will be, a fantastic year imho. Diablo 3, Tribes: Ascend, Planetside 2, Secret World, Guild Wars 2, Spec Ops, Borderlands 2, Aliens, Tomb Raider, Dust 514, Torchlight 2, Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planewalkers 2013, Blacklight Retribution, Endless Space... between what's coming and what's already been released, this has been a stellar year. This person decides that he has the power to define what an action RPG is, when the real elements are a bit broader than that. As I understand it, Zelda was one of the first, if not the first action RPGs. You take the role of a character who levels up in some way or another, getting better gear and abilities as the game progresses... and the fighting occurs as real-time combat. This is the broadest definition and the most accurate definition of an Action RPG I can think of, and Diablo 3 fits ...
There's a little known bug in Crysis 2 that ruined the experience for me. There's a level about halfway through the game that was totally broken for me. I would play it over and over, and every single time, a script would fail to trigger and the game wouldn't allow me to progress. Instead it would send endless waves of enemies at me while I scoured every corner of the map multiple times trying to figure out what I needed to trigger to progress. I remember watching my cousin play the last dungeon on the original Zelda, when I was a young child. I was spellbound. When Link to the Past came out, I damn well made sure I obtained an SNES. It was one of the first games I played through multiple times, and still resides in my mind as the pinnacle of the series. It's also one of those rare games that never stops being a blast to play!

I remember speaking to a good friend of mine who would spend anywhere from 4-12 hours in Guild Wars a day, and his primary character was a female. Everyone in the guild knew he was a guy and no one ever made a big deal out of it. But, whenever anyone would ask him, he would respond with this: "I figured, I'm going to spend hundreds of hours looking at the backside of my character. If that's going to be the case, I'd rather it be a backside I find attractive."

Man, I would LOVE a remake of VII, but I'd also love to see a remake of ANY of the PS1 era Final Fantasies. Or the SNES era ones.
