I don't post much but I just have to say give me a break about this one. If anything it's not hyped enough
My game stop was sold out but luckily I walked over to the target right next to it and they had 3 copies left. I'm loving this game, the online owns.
Killzone 2 is fantastic, I've played the demo at least 10 times and it's a definite buy for me. Are the controls different....yes they are...do I prefer cod controls....being honest I have to say I do. These controls have some interesting aspects too though, for instance I love the cover lean forward or sideways system. But being honest I'd prefer them to be more like COD controls with the looking around flow. Not saying that I can't adapt or get used to it, I have as a matter of fact but...

TBH this game doesn't look that spectacular graphics wise. But shoot these games are about the story, I love JRPG's for the story and as long as it's got a good story I'm going to pick this one up. Let's not kid ourselves and try to act like this game looks great though.

I have 4 kids, 7, 6, 4, 2. All of em game, my 2 year old plays a game on the PC where she just smashes buttons. I think I definitely game now more than I used to. Also my kids sometimes buy games themselves that I end up playing. My 7 year old just bought Littlebigplanet, its great watching my kids enjoy a hobby that I also enjoy. It also is a really good way to spend time with them.
Same reason I got SCIV for the PS3 I just prefer the PS3 controller for namco fighting games.

Uncharted 2. The first one left me wanting more. If it takes them a while to make a game as good as the first though I'll be more than happy to wait(like I have a choice).
First off I own a PS3 and an Xbox 360 and enjoy games on both systems. I'm a long time FF fan since NES days and I'll be pissed if the game is delayed for PS3 if it is done just to release on the same date as with the 360, but I dont see why MS is to blame here. I blame Square-Enix, they are the ones being jerks about this. I have no problem with MS paying for games for their system, they are trying to get games for there fans which in turn makes them money. Even if MS offered SE money on...
I think final fantasy 2/IV had a fantastic story and was a great game. I liked how many characters you could obtain in FF 3/VI though. Both of these were fantastic games imo
the day that I popped Uncharted into my system, everything since that is just icing on the cake.
Not that I wouldn't love cheaper games but for me buying a game like cod4 for $60 bucks that I'm going to get 100 hours of enjoyment out of is way more bang for your buck than a $15 dvd that I might watch once or twice and only get 4 or 5 hours of enjoyment out of. Yeah I know some games are short and it does suck if you pay 60 bucks and get a 5 or 6 hour game with no multiplayer (except uncharted, can play that over and over), but when that does happen us gamers let them know we are disappo...
I like the fact that they are looking into adding a strong storyline to an mmo and I look forward to seeing if they can accomplish it.
I think it would be pretty cool if they left the world of greek mythology and used some other mythology, there are a bunch of good ones to choose from, egyptian, norse, celtic, chinese etc.
