I spontaneously visit home every once in awhile, ended up talking to a girl who had a PScam, she was pretty good looking, didn't play much for games though, just some odd stuff like disgaea, Siren: blood curse, SF4 and RE5.... anyways I'm not gonna say her age but I got see some tits and something extra. To me Home will always remain a place of victory.
But honestly it's just a bunch of pedos and 14<< year olds. Nothing wrong with home. :)
If I were to review games, 4-6 would be average. 5 is suppose to be an average score says most reviewers but 90% of their reviews are in the 70-90s range.
Dante's Inferno
Has a great art style in the gameplay and the drawn cut scenes, the CGI cut scenes also look amazing. Although they totally raped the book it was based off.
Too bad the gameplay feels lacking, I recommend getting games like Heavenly Sword, Bayonetta, GoW3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, DMC 4 and Darksiders first though. I'm a long time fan of the genre and I've got to say Bayonetta/DMC and GoW reign supreme.

Demon's Souls exceptionally felt what it would be like if you took a true SNES game and converted it to this Gen.
The way the levels are designed, the way you have restart a level when you die, the way the monster respawn, the unforgiving gameplay is done, and the overall subtle things they put in it, like it's story.

I don't think you give the PS3 install base enough credit. Heavy Rain is getting great reviews and it's already selling great. I have my reasons for liking Heavy Rain and the MGS series (For different reasons, It's like comparing an amazing physiological thriller movie with a huge jaw dropping action anime. Especially since most be regard Oblivion as the most disappointing sequel this gen. But this gives me an idea why you didn't like bayonetta, you're probably a casual gamer and don't expand much from the Shooter genre.

Think it this way, Avatar the movie looks amazing and had ways of making you care about the characters and show sympathy and empathy to them in ways never seen before but the plot was rather "meh" and it's been done before in other movies.
MGS4 is like that, the character development is some of the best in any video game, it makes you feel emotions to the characters, looks amazing and an all around great game but the plot is rather "meh."

2-3 hours is a fair trade off for something I'm going to being playing for possibly hundreds of hours.
Also, Bayonnetta has a lot more unlock than you think... it has LOTS of weapons and equipment, a TOTALLY new character, LOTS of costumes and LOTS of abilities and power ups.

The way people review stuff are flawed and Metacritic itself is flawed, an 6 from some review may mean more than an 8 than some other reviewer. Different websites have different ways of reviewing so Metacritic shouldn't even be used more than a reference.
I trust the user comment reviews from meta critic more than the actual reviewers, and you get an insight on what the average person's view on the game and what kind of person would like the game.

GoW games cutscense are usually a few minutes long if you add the whole game together.
