Even on my first playthrough I only died a handful of times, mind you most of those were on purpose because of the online system.
Demon's Souls isn't difficult at all, it's just unforgiving and you have to play cautiously. If you run around and fuck around, you'll die.. but if you're cautious and play carefully you can beat most of the game without dieing at all. Just listen to and watch your surroun...

360 has no exclusives, but has games you can't get on PS3
PS3 has lots of exclusives
So long story short, just get a PC/PS3 and you won't miss out on any good games, this also ensures that you'll be able to play games in their best possible state, on PC... like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, L4D, Portal 2, ect
Also, get a Wii/DS/PSP if their games suit your fancy. (Monster Hunter, Pokemon, Metroid, Zelda, ect)
Atlus mostly publishes games, they rarely develop them.
Atlus didn't try to make it seem like the developed Demon's Souls, they mention in their interviews that SCEJ and FROM Software developed the game MULTIPLE TIMES, either you just didn't notice all the FROM Softwares everywhere or something.
It's really the Journalists like IGN/Xplay/ect and Atlus's fanbase that gets confused, they just assume atlus developed it or something.

Pretty much every racing game should be played with a racing wheel because it's impossible to get the resistance from motion control and it's weak with a controller.
Although I'd say Mod Nation Racers is one of those games best played with the DS3.
