It appears that shared plan was more of a glorified demo plan. Just found this out myself. Makes me feel better knowing this as I perceived this as a great feature initially, but now not so much of a loss.

Hmmm...Buy a $15-25 add-on that mounts my Iphone to my controller or a $250-300 inferior gaming system. Think I'll stick with option one. Sure I won't get a bigger/clumsier screen, but who cares if it's only purpose is a radar ala Aliens: Colonial Marines -this is why I bought a big screen television.
