.....if I did not have a PS3 already and was looking to pick one up, this would be the bundle to make me do it.
That is a fair statement, since the game looks graphically stunning and the production values are top class, with realistic death animations that make shooting things even more enjoyable. I have no doubt in my mind that the only console capable of handling this game is the PS3. Its been built from the ground up on the console and it definitely shows.
....they are both very good games. I surprisingly preferred LBP to R2 which I didn't think I would since I really enjoy FPS's, but there you go. That is this generation for you, full of surprises.
i cant wait to check out the demo. Glad the feedback is mainly positive. I loved the original FEAR, great A.I. and there were plenty of freaky moments in the game that made it great fun to play through. I am sure the sequel will be great.
....one game, that the majority of people out there know nothing about?! If it doesn't release in '09 the 360 won't suddenly STOP selling.
It would be a massive disappointment to people like myself who already own a 360 and have been following its progress over the years, keen to have a game that isn't just mindless shooting.

....are for me Alan Wake and Heavy Rain. I need a change from shooting stuff and these two titles look to be very impressive, especially Heavy Rain from what we have seen of it so far. I just hope they show something of Alan Wake soon. My guess is GDC this year. Fingers crossed.
EDIT....Damn I managed to get 8 bubbles and kept hold of them for around 2 hours before obviously someone got annoyed about one of my comments and removed them.
Wish it was maybe a little bit earlier than release. Definately picking this game up day one, the mp beta was enough for me, the gameplay was there and from what i have seen and read the improvements from the beta to the review copy are drastic. Cant wait.
....it doesn't live up to Killzone 2 standards in terms of graphics lol. People saying its rubbish and will not pick the title up because of this are out of their mind.
The original FEAR had some of the best A.I seen in a game at that time and the creepy atmosphere in the game was second to none. ....surpass Crysis in any way. Crysis physics and the jungle lighting on high settings are phenominal. Killzone is a stunning looking game, but it is not the best looking game out there, Crysis is. I think both screen shots, and video footage comparing the two should be enough to prove that. For a console title Killzone 2 is an incredible technical feat, so props to GG, and I for one cant wait to pick up day one.
