i want to get back into this game to see the new moria, mirkwood, and lothlorien stuff, but the gameplay kind of sucks out my soul over time.
i have a lot of free time but i still think there's too much traveling from A to B, waiting 20 minutes to find a group and then another 20 minutes for the group to convene, etc. another welcome back week starts tomorrow and i want to play, but these problems really kill it for me.
bad publicity for the game, since it demonstrates how the game is different enough from the sport that the legend loses to jimmy fallon.
edit: sorry, posted before reading. the article basically says what i said.
you want tasteful sexuality, look at valve's games. there isn't even really any sexuality, but the female characters are so normal that there's more of a realistic sexual intrigue, versus the cheap route of short skirts, cleavage, and boob bounce physics.
probably not new. i don't think they would do that. they have a massive hype machine to maintain, which means only a teaser here and a glimpse there.
i wouldn't really say it's "in the works". he said that they have some plans, so they most likely haven't started designing and coding it yet.
not a fan of his new look, but it ain't a deal-breaker. also not sure bright, colorful brazil quite fits the noir tone of the first two games, but we'll see.
it's good to see rockstar really pushing procedural animation with all of their new games. it's the future!
they're just starting to come up with ideas for the third game. he says they haven't even decided on the time period yet.
edit: wrong reply button?
piracy isn't really stealing the developers' paychecks because they still get paid...
shame it seems like there are pages missing from those scans. it sounds cool. i'd refute the guy's claim that any good story has to be on rails, though. developers have only scratched the surface of interactive storytelling. once technology takes a few big leaps the potential will be huge for games.
what a legal clusterf*ck.
