If we talk about the console as a whole (not just the CPU) then possibly the PS3 is somewhat more powerful. However the 360 is much easier to for developers to actually make use of it's power.
Both systems have fantastic looking games. The graphics have reached a level where game play, fun, innovation even price are more important.
I own a 360 simply because they have the games I want, and live is excellent, but I would never say it's a better or more powerful consol...
From my PC screen one of the versions does look slightly better than the other, but I doubt it will make any difference during gameplay.
My main worry with this game is lack of save points, and why the hell don't all games let you save whenever you like anyway! It was understandable with PS1/Saturn tech., but that was two gens. back?!?

Personally I've had no problems with my heavily used "falcon" and got the NXE when launched.

Most games say "HDTV 720p/1080i/1080p on the back of the box. This simply means what your Xbox/TV can scale it to.
It would be interesting if games listed the real encoding resolution. Problem is, simple games without dynamic lighting and other cpu/gpu intensive programming would seem better if you used just this as a yard stick. Personally, I use my eyes.
