I can't believe Kane & Lynch was nominated for Best Game last year.

I love the fact it uses satellite images as the basis for its environments. The Chicago level looks amazing.

There's always the chance that good modders will be recruited into the industry - the guys who made the Desert Combat for BF1942 are a great example.

Some countries just have no idea when it comes to game censorship. Look at Australia for instance. One week the OFLC will refuse to classify the game, the next week it'll have an MA-15 rating.
It's amazing how the game's popularity is still growing.
Some of the nominations just made no sense last year. Rainbow Six: Vegas for best Strategy/Simulation game? Let's hope they get it right this year. It was nice to see Okami get some recognition last year.
