Microsoft is supposedly working on a rival to Spotify. Can't see it putting its competition on Xbox LIVE.

It'll take something big to shift MW2.

It needs a level as good as The Cradle.

PS fansite writes about PS3 exclusives. Objectivity guaranteed.

Yeah, saw that the other day. Great vid.

I was determined not to get this, given that I thought the first game was hugely overrated, but it sounds amazing.

Been wanting to get my hands on MAG for a while now. Is it really 256 player?

Considering it's free DLC anyway, seems weird that EA isn't offering it to PC users.

To be fair, though, not many games let you influence the story with decisions or, if they do, they're kind of cosmetic and simply lead to a different ending cinematic. Not enough devs have really made the effort with branching storylines IMO.

From what I've seen of Heavy Rain, it seems like for once story is the focus. Which is a big step forward, IMO.

Wherever it is, to be in keeping with the series, it needs to have that combination of stunning scenery, wildreness and lawlessness. Not a lot of places that have that.

Good. As stunning as the setting in FC2 is, it's time for a change.

It must have lost a lot of players to MW2's online MP recently.

The potential for art is there, although I think we rarely see it. Games like Heavy Rain may change that, however. I do agree that the mainstream media has a snobby attitude towards games, though.

I can see how a tourism sim could work for those unable to go somewhere IRL.

5918d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah, presumably it's the interactivity that's piqued their interest.

Lol, brain in a jar is ace.

5918d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah Richard Bartle didn't half get angry about that one.

They'll become bigger, more accessible and thus more profitable. All the MMO world needs is a worthy successor to WoW.

It gets pretty insane on five stars. You're not even safe on the rooftops.
