Wake me up from cryostasis when this is implemented into games.
Sorry accidently clicked disagree...Damn these huge smartphones!
They sacrificed that e3 presentation lol
This game looks wacky and fun. Definitely getting this.
Why not look at real pictures of cars instead of drooling over unrealistic resolutions.
For a company that were leading in electronics for years it surprises me how Sony didn't capitalize on the mobile industry sooner than Samsung did. Couple that with the HD era of TV's Sony let that whole hype pass them by without making a dent. When I think about Sony back in the day, they would've demolished the competition with better more sleek looking everything. Instead, they sat back.....until now of course. How Sony are doing today is what I expected them to do before their...
Me and you are kinda alike in terms of when we bought our consoles. I bought my ps4 launch and Xbox one during titan falls launch. I have to disagree with the voice commands though it's so pointless as its way quicker navigating with the control. Titan fall felt a bit boring to be honest, so did killzone. Although thats probably just me being sick of first person shooters. Didn't you feel as though the Xbox one was so clunky and cumbersome after using the Ps4? I'm disappointed by ...
It's not only sad.....it's messed up.
That's my point exactly. Some societies still think it's strange. Trying to shoehorn it to everybody isn't as fair as it is trying to please the homosexual community.
I must add I'm not saying it's strange. I'm saying although some societies think it's perfectly normal, they don't except same sex marriage as being normal, such as Japan.
Can't please everybody I guess.
I kinda agree with what he said about the Kinect voice commands not working. Last night I tested the voice command out and it turns out the Kinect hates British accents. I'm from London and I can tell you your better off altering your voice to sound more like an American to get it to even register. Although it may 'sometimes' understand us Brits it has a hard time understanding most commands. Maybe it's just me or maybe it's us londoners all I know is saying 'pause'...
Interesting analogy, but why not just use the v8 since it can handle the required speed? Also, what if the V8 was optimised too? Wouldn't we be exactly where we started, with one STILL performing better than the other? So essentially the gap wouldn't have moved.
For a game that encourages a second play through, you would imagine there being an option to skip cutscenes. I think it may have something to do with the game loading in the background whilst the video is playing. Who knows.
God I wish I understood that presentation.
Although practicality was behind this design philosophy I can't help but cringe looking at this thrown together piece of aesthetics.
Hey dude I'm about to play some fifa, you in"? "nah dude I'm about to play cluster fucker with my buddies".....kmt oh please, like that will ever happen.
I wouldn't cry I would simply die!! I think the nostalgic experience would possibly cause many fans of the series to suffer a synchronised heart attack. This world is simply too cruel to make such dreams happen....:( I wish they release this game one day so I can die an honourable death...
@Volkama
I absolutely agree. Games and consoles used to take literally a year or so to get released over here back in the day. I'm thinking back to super Nintendo, we never got it a good 2yrs later. Seems like decades ago now.....I must of been about 9yrs old. I should be happy lol
Yeah definitely. They seemed to have ticked all the right boxes.
Indeed it is Tuesday, so that makes it about 16 days till us Brits get to play it.
Hope that cheered you up :)
I remember when I first saw bump maps and dynamic lighting demonstrated in real time. It took a while before I saw its implementation. I'm not saying this demonstration isn't in real time, I'm just saying adding these affects along with all the rest of it will need a very powerful GPU. I would imagine this would not be used in games for a while till the standard of GPU's are raised above the level they are currently at for a reasonable price. However, I could be wrong.
