I have respect for Hotz. He allowed me to jailbreak my iPhone and for that I thank him. Most people would agree, but since he helped hack the PS3 for good, they will disagree and be raging fanboys.
People are going to hack and get games for free, and people are going to go legit. Either way I don't care what you choose, as long as you are not cheating in multiplayer games and ruining the fun for other players.
I think to be hardcore you must own a gaming PC as well as a console. The fact that you would pay a lot to max out current generation games sounds pretty "hardcore" to me.
At my best buy they had a 3D tv and killzone 3 set up. I tried it out. Was impressive. I finally understand why they have so much snow in the game.
Really? 98% of gamers don't care about their teeth.
The PS3 does not have 8 cores, it has only one full function core, then there are 8 SPEs, two of which are not used for processing in games. The SPEs are more like co-processors, they arent autonomous and they dont have the same instruction set as the main core nor do they even have a cache.
The main core is also an in order unit, with multithreading, its more comparable to the Intel Atom than the more sophisticated Phenom and Core 2 processors.
It is used for super ...
@ kneon
No the firmware does not belong to you. But what's illegal about making custom firmware (your own or using someone else's) and getting rid of the old? Explain that to me.
360 version is clearly better. Not by much but only a fanboy would disagree that it is the same or worse.
This case is going nowhere. Sony is suing for tampering, geohot simply "jailbroke" his PS3 that he bought to unlock features that were blocked such as other OS. Other hackers came along and took this jailbreak and started making pirated games, geohot had nothing to do with the pirated games.
I really don't see this going anywhere. If they could catch the hackers that release the pirated games then yes there would be a case and a win for sony, but geohot is in t...
I've seen some videos... It really does look photorealistic on PC. I wonder what some mods are going to look like. Console version looks very good as well.
I don't think so. But what I do think is that we should stop spreading this shit around and speculating and let Sony do their thing, because just like every gen, they end up making a high class, good quality system.
You are right! It gets them excited to pirate the FULL version! :)
It never says "New Screenshots". It says Screenshots AND NEW INFO! Hence new info but same old screenshots.
Can't really complain if you misunderstand the title.
Piracy won't stop. As long as there are people to complain there will always be pirates to piss them off. I also believe there will always be an exploit!
If we look at the PS2 and Xbox, we can clearly see the PS2 was dominant in the US. Even now if Sony took the lead I don't think Microsoft would give in.
Anyone else notice Jim Sterling get killed at 5:13? Lol.
I agree. The first was a great experience. The atmosphere was great as well.
I see what you did there!
Funny bubbles for you!
I bought the map pack to be honest. Well, I didn't buy it, my brother gifted it to me... I am enjoying it, fun maps. I find they always have something small to add onto each map, for example there are zip lines and automated turrets. I still don't agree with the price, but if we had the same power and dominance as activision we would do the same.
I think people are being confused by Crysis 2 PC gameplay and thinking that it is from consoles and they say "OMG THIS IS WAY BETTER THEN KILLZONE" but in reality the console version is not even close in my eyes to Killzone 3.
You were too late. There is a too late comment above yours!
