It worries him because if Kinect succeeds then the industry will change because of all the casual success recently. Developers have a moto, "Money first, fans second". If the casual market makes more money then the casual market, then expect too see much more casual games.
The Wii loses some respect from me and a lot of hardcore gamers when we see games like Wiifit, or Wiisports, etc etc. My Nintendo glory days were Super Nintendo and N64. Gamecube was a bad idea, Wii was a great idea, but some of the games just turn me away. 3rd party developers are too blame.
From what I have seen it looks great. The only problem I have is the weapons, I know one will be overpowered so I would like to test the guns and see for myself. I don't want another World at War situation with the MP40.
EDIT: Looks like Treyarch takes all the good things from all of the recent call of duty's and leaves out the bad. Balance from CoD4, Zombies from CoDWaW, and Customization from CoDMW2.
OCZ really let's down in RAM and PSU's. I went with Ripjaws for my RAM 1333mhz dual channel and corsair for my PSU.
It will sell hotcakes, any "new" technology sells. And yes, this IS new technology, don't give me the crap that it is the same as an eyetoy, in theory it is close, in truth it is actually "new" technology.
In the end it will disappoint and the xbox will lose credibility. Most people don't even know an xbox 360 is a product of microsoft so their next console will probably be called something else but the smart ones will know what and who to avoid. ...
I agree. All this violence over the internet, people swearing at each other, threatening each other, all these preteen kids acting tough and teenagers acting cool and swearing out other players. Adults too. Remember, every action has a consequence, maybe this kid will think twice before he calls some guy on call of duty a "fucking faggot" or "a douchebag"
Back in the day I used to make about 4 dollars an hour minimum wage, now if I was working minimum wage I would be making 10 dollars an hour. Do you really expect prices to stay the same? When I was a kid I bought my hockey stick for 7.50. Now I buy them for about 100 dollars and more.
Console gaming is even more expensive if you decide to go get a 3D TV.
Rockband 3 is a game changer. Guitar Hero gives us the same game every year, while this year Harmonix gives us a real expert mode
One year it's PS3, the other it's xbox 360.
The only reason I keep my xbox 360 around is because I can party chat with my friends which is a BIG let down for me on PS3. However I like how I do not have to pay for PSN. Steam has better online then 360 and yet it is free which also pisses me off. If all my friends sold their 360's I would too.
An article about not playing an OPTIONAL mode in a video game... Let's start writing about unicorns and leprechauns.
Not saying PSMove is bad! I am just saying that Americans buy anything they see on TV. It is sad if you ask me.
Lucky for me I preordered a PC version.
And many people disagree when we say Bungie has the best support for the community!
It's more worth it to install it on a PC!
With 3 PS3's together I would still have triple RAM and a way better graphics card. This article is stupid btw. You can never compare PC's with anything since there is a wide range of options for pc, 1gb of ram, to 24gb of ram. Which one is being compared?
Only because it is SO NEW. I've never or rarely experienced a game like this, it is rare to come by in gaming a game with such great art style and design as Borderlands. Borderlands is the pure definition of gaming, fun!
CEO's commit fraud! Who knew!
Too bad Netflix in Canads sucks :( I got one moth for free cancelled before the next month started, the only thing worth watching was Mad men.
$1 a month would be a fair price. This would mean that all DLC would be free, including the ridiculously priced map packs.
