That is some of the ugliest walnut veneer they could have possibly found. Proper walnut regardless of species should have a much deeper hue and not have that grayish discolored area. That is likely due to this low quality veneer being composed of a mix of heartwood and sapwood that was bleached in an attempt to even the color because no species of walnut is that light in color.

This is what walnut should look like:

Photomode doesn't count since the game while you're playing it looks nothing like it.

The game is NOT a year old for PS4 owners. Its a brand new game for them and their platform. And the price will likely be what you'd expect for a new game.

No, they're not. The Scorpio's GPU is likely going to be AMD's upcoming Vega which hasn't even taped out, and most likely wont until sometime in early 2017. Retail GPUs typically anywhere between 5-7 months after first tape-out barring any complications in the manufacturing process.

The level of detail, effects, filtering, etc on PC far exceeds what you'll see on console. Console is typically low to medium pc quality. PS4 or Xbone would never have hit 1080p had they been forced to use the same quality as Ultra PC.

@ Reddragon

That's not really true considering 93% of PC game sales are digital downloads and the numbers console fanboys always tout are retail sales. I haven't bought a retail boxed PC game in over a decade.

In 2015, PC game revenue hit just over $27 billion while all three consoles combined only pulled in $25 billion. If you were to include all those lame PC webgames and similar nonsense, you can add another $6.6 billion to PC gaming revenue ma...

Redundant? How is creating a much power powerful console that targets a completely new demographic like 4k and 4k Blu-Ray users, being redundant? If it didn't expand the platform into those markets, you might have had a point, but the facts of the matter show that YOU and your childish taunting of YinYangGaming with your demands of "prove me wrong" just got proven wrong. At least next time when you want to act like that, make sure you know what you're talking about.

Retail game sales are becoming more and more meaningless since the majority of console gamers (more-so on Xbone) buy their games digitally

What a load of nonsense. Microsoft absolutely wiped the floor with Sony last gen, with over 20 million more game sales. Sure you may point to console sales but keep in mind these companies (especially Sony) lost money on the hardware sales. I know at least a half dozen people who bought PS3's and never us...

If you dumb the graphics down to console quality, it would easily run 4k/60

A PC with similar specs and price point as the ps4 can run games using similar graphics quality at the same or better resolution and fps as PS4.

When you take those PC games and dumb them down to the quality seen on consoles, they are easily run at 4k/60 on a GTX 1080.

@SoftwareLover

No it can't. teraflops are teraflops, plain and simple.

Here's a perfect example... a gaming PC built with the budget of a PS4 with almost the same GPU processing power and by your logic, the PS4 would walk all over it. Too bad it doesn't. In fact, the "potato masher" routinely walks all over the PS4 with higher more stable frame rates, higher fidelity, and even plays many modern games at 4k/30 when using graphics sett...

Windows 10 sales? Umm.. Windows 10 is free. And FYI, Microsoft makes almost all its operating system money in corporate sales, not from consumers.

As for Scorpio being a PC and not a console... the exact same can be said about the PS4. Both consoles use PC x86 architecture, have hardware picked right off AMD's production line with only slight customization, and while fanboys love to focus on Windows 10 as being the "lynch-pin", keep in mind that PS4 isn't ...
